After the relative (and I do mean relative) success of our attempt at a Christmas single, Ed and I are determined that our album 'Flight of the Ptarmigan' is completed in 2006. On Sunday we worked on 'Pentatonix' adding about a dozen texture layers using Jane's Korg M1. Then Ed added a first, tentative guide vocal and ZAP! 'Pentatonix' the instrumental became 'All Linda Barker' the song. Here's the karaoke version: ALB.mp3

I was absolutely thrilled and delighted to read in Robert Fripp's diary that he has contributed guitar to Jakko Jakszyck's new album. I worked with Jakko before he was famous ;) and I know that this represents the fulfillment of a boyhood fantasy. I am so happy for him and practically salivating at the thought of the music!
