    20/1/2006 - Sloot & Blair
I watched a documentary on TV last night: "Tony Blair Rock Star", and was suprised to see Theo Sloot being interviewed. Theo had been drummer in a band  with TB called Jaded that played just 6 gigs in 1972. I knew Theo quite well in Cambridge in the mid-to-late 70's when he was a staple on the local music scene (and one of the best druummers around). He must have played with dozens of groups, good drummers being in short supply, and I particluarly recall his blue (Pearl?) kit, raffish moustache and love of fine wine. Good to see he has retained at least two of these attributes...

Trevor Dann (BBC Radio DJ and lots more) wrote to the Spaceward Studios Guestbook recalling his session in 1972 with a band called Tramp.

    Hi Steve,

Yes, that's great news (I think) but I worry slightly that familiarity will breed contempt. IE Fripp's signature sound could become tiresome or, by assocoiation or repetition, devalued.
