A meeting with Mick Holloway today has produced both a list of Spaceward sessions and a photo of The Zeds at The Alex Wood Hall, Cambridge in 1979 (supporting The Soft Boys). Yours truly is the one on the right with the Rickenbacker bass copy and face obscured by microphone. FWIW I still have that blue jumper - how sad is that! I only played with the Zeds a couple of times on a tryout basis but it didn't lead to anything permanent.

Hi Mark

Just to let you know I have a live recording of a gig at Melbourn Village College. It is recorded off the PA and you play Bass on 2 songs. Sometime in the spring of 1979 must have been one of the last gigs Simon did with the band.

I've sent you an email - also very pleased to see elsewhere mention of Theo Sloot - I also remember Theo well and enjoyed many good times with him. Didn't know he played with Blair though! I'm now sorry I missed the program.
