Ely Cathedral couldn't fit us in on 12th December for Stephen's celebration/thanksgiving concert so we're opting for St Andrew's Parish Church, Sutton, Ely, Cambs instead. Stephen continues to make good progress and is hoping to be back at work (albeit in a wheelchair) in January. He is lucky to have a sympathetic employer (Stephen runs the Design Room at Cambridge University, Engineering Department).

Much interesting time spent indexing the recently rescued tape archive - the Spaceward Studios website discography has grown considerably as a result. Eventually I'll put all this on a database but that time is not yet.

On Sunday, Ed came and musicked on "Be Somewhere This Christmas". We recorded him singing Beach Boys-style harmony backing vocals on the chorus and then I added a really kitch Musical Box.

It was a big mistake rediscovering all those old Dolly Mixture songs ;) Today I can't get "Side Street Walker" out of my head! What a fantastically catchy chorus!
