No new pictures to add today. There's been a bit of a hiatus.

I've been busy travelling (in France with Fretwork) and looking after Edie and teaching....

Now, I'm pleased to say, there's some time at home and a slightly slower pace of life. Predictably, I seem to have come down with a little cold just at that moment when I have some time. Classic!

Edie is feverish today too, but we think it's teeth rather than illness. Poor little thing--she's subdued and clearly suffering brief bouts of dental agony. We're pretty tired, due to Edie's bad nights. However, there's good stuff on the horizon. Just before the current bout of teething, Edie did some unprecedentedly long sleep-throughs -- one night, she did an uninterrupted stint from 8 pm to 5 am. Bliss! (Except that I woke at 2 AM because it was so quiet, freaked out, and went to Edie's bed to check that she was breathing......) The indications are that she is learning to sleep through the night.

Current listening: Terre Roche (The Sound of a Tree Falling), the Roches (songs for kids -- Edie loves one of them in particular -- the song about the cat), Muzsikás (The Bartok Album), Riley Baugus (Life of Riley), Baugus and Bernstein (Southern Mountain Soul).
